The Brief -
The world’s leading cement firm, Lafarge Semento, participates annually in the Philconstruct Expo. For 2007, Lafarge Semento wanted to come up with a booth design conveying preservation of nature. It was challenging for a cement company to promote such principle because of the identity of their industry.
The Idea -
Because the materials used in Lafarge Semento quality products are also environmental, the booth design has a modern, versatile and eco-friendly feel. Inspired by the image of the “Tree of Life,” the booth was crafted out of supple, flexible tension fabric built to form soaring arches, with green lights streaming from above.
The Result -
Lafarge Semento’s unconventional design bagged the Most Attractive Booth award. It clearly stood out from the rest because of its unexpected structure and lighting. Indeed, the booth conveyed Lafarge’s forward looking mindset and staunch commitment to care for the environment.
